Wedding Ceremonies
It’s not easy to know what you want in a wedding ceremony. Many people just don’t understand how many choices there are! Today, most couples marrying outside the church still choose to express themselves in a ceremony that is traditional in structure, with added touches and variations that make it uniquely their own. This is generally my starting point when creating yours. Below I highlight 3 types of wedding ceremonies – Casual, Basic, and Perfect. All are great! And each can be designed to fit your personal style and spiritual – or non-spiritual – beliefs.
Wedding Ceremony Types – all 30 minutes or less
A Casual Ceremony ($225 +travel), also known as an Elopement, is when you want a quick ceremony with a few witnesses in a casual setting. The ceremony can take place at your home, a nearby park or beach, or even at the city or town hall where you get your marriage license. Casual ceremonies are offered Monday-Thursday anytime and Friday-Sunday before 3pm.
For a simple, sweet traditional ceremony, the Basic Ceremony ($525 +travel) has just what many couples want. We start creating your ceremony with a traditional wedding format where you can choose to express your love and commitment from a variety of style options. We can add rituals and/or readings that embody who you are as a couple, including interreligious and intercultural traditions. I will provide you with pre-written marriage vows to choose from, or you may decide to write your own.
A Perfect Ceremony ($750 +travel) builds upon the Basic Ceremony by adding your personal Love Story. As we create your story together, you will experience wonderful and intimate memories; and as I read it during your ceremony, it will entertain and enlighten your guests to what makes your relationship so unique and special.

How to Begin
It usually helpful to begin with an initial phone call or meeting to decide if we’re a fit. We can discuss options that will guide you to understand what you want for your ceremony, talk about my credentials and background, and I will answer any questions you have, and guide you on how, where, and when to obtain your marriage license. And of course, I do have many stories of ceremonies that I have done that can be helpful for you to begin making decisions for your own ceremony!
Ceremonies Include:
